"About Me"
I’m a UI-focused product designer who creates visual-first experiences that feel intentional,
immersive, and human. Hi, my name’s Gregory Hunt. I’m based in Bowie, Maryland, currently
finishing graduate school in business. While I’ve always had an interest in creating, it wasn’t until
after undergrad that I truly began to understand how deep that passion ran. What started as
curiosity quickly turned into something I wanted to take seriously.
I began my design journey creating posters, and over the past year and a half, that curiosity
has grown into something much more intentional. What started as simple visual exploration
evolved into a constant push to expand, from posters to 3D modeling, to HTML, to animation.
Each step wasn’t just about learning a new skill, but about finding better ways to bring ideas
to life. Eventually, that path led me to product design, where everything I had been building
finally came together.
Coming from a business background has shaped the way I think. I understand that products
don’t just need to look good, they need to work, scale, and make sense in the real world.
But design is where I feel most connected. It’s where logic meets feeling, where structure
meets expression.
For me, design isn’t just about usability, it’s about emotion. It’s about translating a vision into
something people can feel and interact with. I see design as a portrayal of intent, where
every decision carries meaning, and being responsible for shaping that experience is what
makes the process so fulfilling.
As I’ve grown, so has my perspective. I’ve developed not only a stronger foundation in visual
design, but also a deeper understanding of how users think, how products exist beyond
the screen, and how thoughtful systems can guide meaningful interactions.
My goal is to create experiences that feel personal, interfaces that don’t just function, but
resonate. Whether I’m designing for clarity, engagement, or expression, I’m always thinking
about how to make the experience more intuitive, more intentional, and ultimately
more human.
